ADHD

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It’s also called ADD – Attention Deficit Disorder – but this term is no longer widely used.

There are 3 types of ADHD:

  • Hyperactive (always moving around)
  • Inattentive (daydreaming)
  • Mixed (both presentations)

Main characteristics of people with ADHD:

  • Good under pressure
  • Fidgety
  • Daydreaming
  • Rapid speech
  • Quick-thinking
  • Easily distracted
  • Can multitask
  • Can hyperfocus
  • Time blindness
  • Difficulty completing projects
